Kingston Council has published a new web site that allows
residents and local businesses access to thousands of Council records and
maps. Called ISIS-OnLine (which stands for Integrated Spatial Information
System OnLine) the web site enables the public and businesses to find and
view property based information via the World Wide Web rather than having to
come into the Council's offices. ISIS combines map information, based on the Ordnance Survey, with database information. This means that the public can click on to any property on a map and find information about it. This includes Planning history from current applications to as far back as 1947; Building Control history from the present back to the 1880s; information about your nearest Council facilities - schools, leisure centres, recycling centres, etc. and general property information such as which Ward or Neighbourhood a property is in. |
